Café Cycle Pista

Highlight • Cafe

Café Cycle Pista is a really nice place. The kind of place where you immediately feel good. It is located a little away from the bustle of the iconic village of Bédoin.

It's a bike cafe but open to everyone. The atmosphere is particularly friendly, and the small dishes prepared with care and love by Vicky and Jean-Sébastien will convince you that this place is atypical and apart.

Bédoin

Highlight • Settlement

Bédoin is a small town at the foot of Mont Ventoux, which, in addition to wine growing, has one main source of income: Ventoux tourism. Good for you, with its accommodations and restaurants, this place is perfect for a multi-day Ventoux and Provence program.

Graviers Blancs Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

This pebble track allows you to do this mythical climb of Ventoux in the middle of nature, without crossing a car, from Bédoin.
You reach the start of the "Graviers Blancs" track from Bédoin via the Chemin de la Montagne, located north of the village. This DFCI (Forest Defense Against Fire) trail climbs for 15 km of fairly physical rocky switchbacks (between 6% and 12%). We arrive at the crossroads of Grands Pins (1420 m), where two directions are possible: either the direction of Mont Serein (respite of 2.5 km by the track of the head of the Chauve) and we join the secondary road D974. Or the Building track towards Châlets Reynard. For the final climb, those who want to avoid too much paved road, it is best to take the track from the head of the Chauve (left at the Grands Pins crossroads).

Mont Ventoux summit

Highlight • Summit

It is on the square in front of the old summit observatory that most of the cyclists who climb Mont Ventoux meet because the sign “summit of Mont Ventoux 1,912 meters” is there and all the climbers of the whole world wants to take the famous photo. There is sometimes a queue.

On this square are the Belvedere of Provence which offers views of the Albion plateau to the Mediterranean and the Belvedere of the Alps which opens onto the northern part. On a clear day, you can clearly see the department of Drôme, the Pre-Alps and the Alps.

By climbing slightly to the base of the antenna, you will be able to read below written on the ground, in large figures, the new official measurement of the Giant of Provence by the IGN: 1,910 meters.
