If you only want to go up to the monastery, don't park down there (you pay 5,-€) just drive up and you can park for free 😉

After a long serpentine ride comes the picturesque town of Paleokastritsa, which lies in small bays. Souvenir shops, restaurants and cafes meander one after the other. It's all very touristy.
