May 8, 2025,Rundtour => Treuenbrietzen und NSG Zarth
Today's tour isn't unfamiliar to me... although I haven't hiked it in spring yet.

Together with Irene, Sonja, and Steffen, I immerse myself in this wonderful natural setting with its fresh greenery. We walk along the edge of fields and through idyllic wooded areas on mostly natural paths. The Reichhelms Pond lies enchantingly in the sun, only the water lilies …

Today we're going to explore a lot of countryside, and the scenic walk near Treuenbrietzen is a natural choice. The name says it all, because just beyond the last houses, the landscape is nothing but spring-like. Our small hiking quartet, consisting of @Helga 🎒🥾❤️, @Prinzessin 🚶‍♀️🚴‍♀️🧎‍♀️🚣‍♀️⛷️🧗‍♂️🌲, @SOPHIA, and me, walks past breezy meadows to Reichhelms Park, a deciduous forest area …

Today, with the best weather, a tour planned by Frank.
Thank you for that.
He also met Susanne on the train, so the tour was reversed so that we can hike the beginning together.
The NSG Zarth and the park are highly recommended.

... today the first group hike of this year took place... finally again. Thank you, Frank, for planning and organizing this beautiful tour.. it was great fun, as always.

I ran the route once last summer. Today it was the other way around and of course the landscape looks completely different at this time of year. So it was very …

... today I was actually on my first (!) self-guided hike for the Märkischer Wanderbund with 16 participants in perfect weather on this wonderful tour around Treuenbrietzen.

The two idyllic pleasure hiking sections of the tour showed their most beautiful side for the season and a red kite circled over our sunny rest area.

Today a very nice circular hike around Treuenbrietzen. I found the first section along the Nieplitz and later the NSG Zarth particularly worth seeing. But I also liked the round through Treuenbrietzen.

Thanks to Frank Meyer at this point, who provided the template. His tour is also here: komoot.de/tour/695617334

... today I was on this wonderful route with hiking friend Thomas KB, who was allowed to play the 'guinea pig' for me for the planned group hike on March 8th.

My aim was to check the timing again, to check the current condition and walkability of the route and to evaluate possible places to take a break. By chance …

Today, under a bright blue sky and pleasant temperatures, I did this tour, which had been simmering in my planning folder for what felt like an eternity and has been seen in this or a similar form on Komoot several times. I started at the Treuenbrietzen Süd stop and hiked to Reichhelms Park, which I really liked with its ponds …
