Randower Kleinbahn Rail Trail in Naturpark am Stettiner Haff

Highlight • Cycleway

Quiet bike path through the forest along the railway line of the former Randower Kleinbahn. From the Polish Dobra (Daber) you can use the route in sections, alternating asphalt and easy-to-drive gravel.

Teufelsgraben

Highlight • River

At the beginning of the 19th century, a ditch was laid to drain Lake Ahlbeck into Lake Neuwarper. Problems with the canal works, which led to collapses, gave the drainage ditch the name "Teufelsgraben".
Even today there is a noticeable drainage of the Ahlbeck lake over the Teufelsgraben. (Source: Wikipedia)

Colonists' House Ahlbeck

Highlight • Historical Site

In 1740 the colonization of the then largely deserted Ueckermünder Heide by Frederick the Great began. Some of the type houses built at that time still bear witness to this time, including our Kolonistenhaus in Ahlbeck.
The approx. 250 year old colonist house is located on a 1200 m2 fenced property. On almost 100 square meters you can experience the romantic house with a tiled stove in the large living area and open kitchen (dishwasher, refrigerator, electric oven and gas hob), dining area, 2 separate bedrooms with double beds, one of them with an open fireplace and a fantastic modern bathroom / toilet with a walk-in shower area and washing machine. A cot and high chair are also available. At the back of the house is the large sun terrace with garden furniture and a grill.

The Kolonistenhaus has just been renovated and will be rented for the first time in summer 2007.

The picturesque village of Ahlbeck (not to be confused with the seaside resort Ahlbeck on Usedom) is nestled between pine forests and has one of the most beautiful half-timbered churches in the region, a small supermarket, bakery, hairdresser, an ATM and two restaurants.

The neighboring town of Rieth with the bathing area and the jetty at Neuwarper See (a bay in the Szczecin Lagoon) is only 5 km away. A beautiful bike path leads through the pine forest to the lagoon.
