Hidden Trail Park

Highlight • Forest

Hidden Trail Park is a small green space connected to neighbouring trails and parks. The public is welcome to enjoy the parks' open grassy fields, swaths of trees, and amenities like restrooms, benches, trash cans, and gardens. Though the park is in northern urban Toronto, it feels like a nice escape from big city life.

West Don River

Highlight • River

The Don River West Branch is a scenic river that flows through the western side of the Don Valley. As it passes through urban spaces, greenways, and natural landscapes, it creates a haven for animals with its surrounding trees, shrubs, and wetlands. Ongoing restoration strides have helped improve water quality and restore the riverbanks, so with the help of TRCA, the City of Toronto, Don't Mess with the Don, and Waterfront Toronto, everyone can enjoy a healthy river.

Starting 2020 City of Toronto installed rental bicycle stations along Finch Hydro corridor trail. Great way to explore this part of the city.
$3.25 for one trip of 30 minutes
There are also much more affordable daily $7, 3 days $15 and annual $99 rates.
Enjoy and respect

Serpentine Path at Finch Corridor

Highlight • Cycleway

This is referred to here as a hill. Were maybe 30 m difference in height and therefore, someone told me, the path had to be laid out in "serpentines". I found that very funny. But the Finch Corridor is really worth a bike ride. Always under high-voltage pylons, occasionally interrupted by a small detour or a road, it is really a very long park with everything that CA Sport has to offer. Dozens of soccer fields one after the other, public tennis courts (and they were great), football and baseball fields, lots of playgrounds, etc. And of course a great bike path
