The Altenstädter Warte was built in the 14th century. It is the only remaining tower of the five former watchtowers around Naumburg. Today, at just under five meters high, it is a lookout tower that can be climbed using an 18-rung steel ladder attached to the outside. The view is wonderful.

Right next to the tower is a hiking rest area with the so-called sky swing. Five oak trunks bolted together, two chains and a plastic seat form this swing. A very nice place to linger and take a break.
