Adventure loop🫣at the beginning many dump trucks, construction site due to renaturation. Then beautiful and lots of variety - old arm of the Ems, forest... suddenly my hiking trail disappeared behind barbed wire😝 so a dirt path between the Ems and Kottruper See (didn't feel like going all the way back. I probably wasn't the first🙃

Almost only unpaved paths and a bit of asphalt. We skirted the Way of St. James and followed the long-distance hiking trail XE for a while. It went through the forest, along the Ems, between fields and around the Kottruper lakes.

The hike started and ended at Hof Austermann. Currently, there's a beautiful pumpkin exhibition there again. Pumpkins and other delicacies can also be purchased there, e.g. ☕️🍰😋
