Gulworthy–Tavistock Descent

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Proper speed. Go hard and just keep on going for some real speed.

Grenofen Tunnel

Highlight • Structure

Great walk, the footpath from the top of brook lane/Rix hill is not well used, just follow the hedgeline!

Tunnel in Dartmoor National Park

Highlight • Rest Area

This is a great attraction and great with the kids but don't go in to hide from the rain, it leaks, a lot after heavy rain

Bread and Moor Coffee Shop

Highlight • Cafe

Brilliant swirls, but perhaps a little small so not ideal if super busy weekend!

Tip by

5

30.2 km

The drinking water tap is around the side, by the bike stand. I’ve added a picture as I met someone today that couldn’t find it!

Clearbrook Stone Bridge

Highlight (Segment) • Bridge

A great ending or start to a ride from Clearbrook. The flater section between the main road and Drake's Leat is flat enough to be an easy warm down at the end of a ride, or the perfect warm up as the section requires constant pedalling and is a steady undulation from Clearbrook.

Tamar Bridge

Highlight • Bridge

Nice segregated cycle path with a good view of the Brunel bridge adjacent.

Bench in Small Park

Highlight • Rest Area

Tiny park with nice clean bench to enjoy fish & chips from Codfather or other snack of your choice. Clean public loo nearby (limited opening hours, shuts 7pm I think) and what seems a nice (though unvisited) pub is adjacent.
