Last stop for this time. A wonderful route from Obersuhl to Eisenach—no headwind. In Eisenach, we climbed up to the Wartburg Castle—bikes aren't allowed all the way up. The view from the castle is magical. The tour inside is fascinating—very worthwhile. The route from Hof to Eisenach is highly recommended. Book accommodations and trains well in advance.
