I planned this walk a while ago 🥾🐕
A walk mainly through a sloping forest.
Unfortunately, there's little view of the water.
There are also a few short stretches of asphalt because the nature reserve is surrounded by buildings.
Plenty of benches everywhere to rest ☺️

because yesterday's walk at the Drielandenpunt was longer than planned, today we looked for a shorter walk not too far away. Due to the difference in height it was still a tough walk. And on some smaller paths the climbing and descending was also difficult, because the rain had washed away sand and stones. But certainly a beautiful walking area.

By the way, the Wurm river originates south of Aachen and flows into the Rur after about 53 kilometers near Heinsberg.
A small drawback are a few riverside sections that are slowly but surely becoming overgrown with nettles and brambles. 🙈
