Hiking suggestion "mobil.nrw" "Eifel To-Go" 11.4 km (forgot to start recording at train station). Tour character: narrow paths, paths, forest motorway and asphalt (too much for my taste). The main route to Laufenburg was heavily frequented by families with small children. Castle closed. Seen the little "Indemann" at the Langerweh train station.

"We are always up for old castles and walls. The Laufenburg is the literal highlight of the hike around Langerwehe. In the castle's beer garden there is delicious homemade blackberry wine, which allows us to tackle the following descent unexpectedly in high spirits.

It's pretty bizarre, the worship of Prussian nobility, but it is revealing and the "park" is very pretty.
The Laufenburg compensates for the ascent with the beautiful view and the opportunity to quench your thirst with a rhubarb spritzer 😋
The way back to Langerwehe was quite boring for long stretches, and in between there were short stretches along a …

Start of this round is in Langerwehe
And it goes on the signposted path no. 31 first in the direction of Laufenburg.
The path leads at the beginning over meadow paths until you dive into the forests, which are currently so fantastically golden.
On the idyllic Laufenburg we strengthened ourselves with cake and coffee in the inner courtyard and then …

That was again a tour to my liking: A great natural and cultural landscape next to the coal-fired power plants in NRW, which supply us with electricity.
And there was so much to see along the way:
-Kammerbusch landscape garden (English landscape garden)
- Gut Burg Holzheim
- Wenauer Hofchen
-Wenau Monastery
-Laufenburg.

From Langerwehe it goes through the landscape garden Kammerbusch. There are numerous buildings and memorials along the way. Here you can take a break. The Orchelsweiher also invites you to take a break. But the highlight is the Laufenburg. There is a nice restaurant in the courtyard. From 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., warm meals are available at moderate prices. …

I was inspired by this tour:komoot.de/tour/365266708?ref=atd
that I found on mobil.nrw.
Out of curiosity, I decided to include the Kammerbusch landscape garden, which I/we had never heard of before. We were surprised by the many statues and monuments and especially by the ruins of the Karlsburg. Maybe we'll come back in the spring when the many rhododendron hedges are in …
