As the glaciers receded, drifts and sediments sealed the broken block of ice, which, when it melted, opened a bowl-shaped cavity. The length of the collapse is about 150 meters, the width is 100 meters. A path of giant firs leads to a 20-meter deep pit. The viewing platform next to the collapse and the educational walking trail that surrounds it provide the opportunity to view this natural phenomenon from all sides.
