Unfortunately, the summit of the Hoher Riffler was covered in clouds all day today, sometimes more, sometimes less.
From the junction to the Petersköpfl you can pack your hiking sticks in your backpack, as from here it is 95% over block terrain with a lot of scrambling, where you often need your hands. This makes the ascent quite strenuous.
