Birdwatching at Dannemeer in 't Roegwold

Many geese can be found at Dannemeer in 't Roegwold, especially in winter. This is not the only bird species that can be found here. Species such as grasshopper warbler, bluethroat, moustache, cowrie grouse, bearded warbler and sedge warbler breed in the swamp vegetation. Beautiful route, especially over the water. Added a photo of the map, because the cycle path, 1st red cross from the top in the photo, is not available until the last red cross. As it appears, at least another month. So don't turn right to the Slochtermeenteweg but continue along the Afwateringskanaal. With Komoot in hand, it is almost self-explanatory.
