Beautiful cycle highway through Meinweg. When the weather is nice and in summer there is a lot going on here.

The Raddweg is consistently moderately well paved. There are holes. We travel this way more often with a road bike group; it never came to problems (plates). In a row no problem! (As of 08/2019)

March 15, 2025,Schwalmtaler Frühjahrsklassiker RTF des RSC Schwalmtal
Windy round trip towards Holland, thank you @RSC Schwalmtal, especially for the delicious fries 🍟

Today I drove an RTF again. In Schwalmtal we first went west towards NL. The roads were still wet from the morning rain, but they dried out as the tour progressed. Normally you only see racing cyclists at an RTF. Today there were also some cyclists with ebikes and trekking bikes. They were joined by at least three kick bikers …

Many thanks to the RTC Schwalmtal for the beautiful route and the fries :)

How often a little too fast 😁😜, driven a lot in front, a bit of wind, let's go together, arrive together. The weather was great, I was able to wear 3/4 pants and summer shoes down below, beautiful scenery, the surface is mostly very good, in the Netherlands there were fries at the checkpoint 🤗

Today we went to the spring RTF from
RSC Schwalmtal. It was my first road bike event and my first 100. The event was very well organized. There were 3 checkpoints and everything was perfectly signposted. The weather and the route were also great. Only at the end did the wind come through a bit.

My first RTF in two years I think. In nice October weather partly through the Netherlands, well organized, met nice people. Nice thing!
