The Saint-Sauveur chapel, located at the crossroads of the rue du Curé and the rue des Wérihets, dates from the mid-19th century. At that time, a team of three powerful Hesbaye horses got stuck in the Havée (sunken road) that connects Moxheron to the Chaussée Romaine. The desperate farmer promised to build a chapel if he could get his precious carriage back. His wish was granted and the chapel was built on the farm. The cult of the “Saint Sauveur” quickly spread throughout the village and the surrounding area, and Easter Monday became a public holiday in the area. At a trot or gallop, the large draft horses made the "round of Saint Sauveur" several times to ask for protection. In order to keep the tradition alive, since the 1960s a priest has also blessed tractors, trucks, cars and other vehicles... Inside, the altar of the Saint-Sauveur chapel bears the date 22 March 1700 and probably comes from the former church of Moxheron.
