Bodman Castle

The current castle was built in 1832 by Johann Baptist Wehrle and was given its current appearance in 1909 with additions. The Bodman Castle in Weinbrenner style is a simple structure. It is privately owned and is still inhabited by Wilderich Graf von und zu Bodman, the son of Johann Nikolaus Freiherr von und zu Bodman. Only the castle park, an extensive English park that dates back to the 18th century, is open to visitors.
