The parking machine in Friedersdorf am Silbersee didn't accept our change, so we had to look for another parking space and found one at Lohsa train station.
Our paths around reservoirs I and II were very varied. There was everything from asphalt, icy and muddy.
We were able to catch a few beautiful views of reservoir I despite the renovation …

The Lohsa I reservoir is located in Upper Lusatia and is part of the Lusatian Lake District.
It is formed from the Mortkasee (Mortka) and Silbersee (Friedersdorf) open-cast lignite mining pits. From 1967 to 1972, these pits were flooded and connected by a canal.
