The buses is a 766.7 m above sea level. NHN high mountain in Upper Swabia between Unlingen and Uttenweiler, on whose district it is located near the district of Offingen. It is one of the most visited places of pilgrimage in Upper Swabia and an excellent panoramic mountain with a view of the Alps. Sometimes it is called the local mountain of Upper Swabia or The Holy Mountain of Upper Swabia. There are indications of a Celtic and later Germanic place of worship. In the year 805 a pilgrimage church, today's parish church of St. Johannes Baptist auf dem Bussen, is mentioned in a document. It is the highest elevation in the district of Biberach outside of the Swabian Alb, but the highest point in the district is the 800.8 meter Hoher Rotreis near Ittenhausen in the municipality of Langenenslingen.
