Langcliffe Scar

Highlight • Climb

Langcliffe Scar is the name given to the rock face limestone, overlooking the village of Langcliffe in Ribblesdale, the Yorkshire Dales. It's also the name given to this road cycling climb which is very well known, named as one of Simon Warren's top 100 cycling climbs in the UK from the village up, with an average gradient of eight per cent but ramping up to 20 per cent in places!

This lane makes for a great descent on a rocky track with lotsa of interest from water bars to jump to rough cobbles and a sharp S bend. Take it easy though as there are lots of walkers using the trail to access the nearby waterfall
