If the restaurant is open it can be a great place to leave your bike & gear safely if you're doing the loop hike through the narrow gorge and come out on the upstream trail. Usually closed in winter, but that can be an advantage if you need a dry place to camp (the panorama terrace has a big roof) and charge your electric devices at the outlets behind the building.
