A beautiful tour without any major "extras." The climb to Brunnersberg is steady, all on asphalt, and varied. The ridge of the second Jura range is a leisurely climb up to Mausenberg above Gänsbrunnen. However, we turned off earlier toward Welschenrohr and took the easy downhills, always keeping in mind => easy on the collarbone☺️.

Classic tour on the second Jura chain. The ascent leads along the asphalt road over Brunnersberg towards Güggel.

From Güggel, the trail continues over meadow trails towards Tannmatt. A short, fun trail awaits you here, which takes us to the Brandbergstrasse.

Nice round tour on the second Jura chain from Balsthal in the direction of Welschrohr and on the main road back to Balsthal. The highlight is the trail from Lochboden along the Wolfsschlucht crete to the Uhrmacherweg and further along the Schwebeweg. The zigzag trail below the mill is very steep, narrow and very difficult to ride. Better to push …

Typical April weather. Sun, wind, snow and rain. Soaked through all layers of clothing...but it was beautiful!

Cool round tour on the 2nd Jura chain over the Brunnersberg, Güggel, Tannmatt in the direction of Lochboden in Welschenrohr. From Lochboden a super trail leads down the ridge over the Wolfsschlucht. The last piece of the trail to Hammerstrasse has to be mastered with tricky switchbacks.

The "Güggel" restaurant is wonderfully located and very hospitable, and the dishes are also finely prepared. The trail up to Tannmatt is very varied and pleasant to ride with a few "bike gates" …
