Etna ice cream parlor

Highlight • Cafe

A good bike tour naturally also includes a decent ice cream. That's what you get here. The ice cream cafe has a nice outdoor dining area right on the Werse.
The prices are fair (Tartufo €7.50) and the quality is good. Another guest gave me the tip to try the ice cream chocolate as a drink. Apparently the best within a 70km radius.
There are also enough parking spaces in front of the restaurant.
So take a look

Werse River in Albersloh

Highlight • River

The Werse has particularly little current and it is difficult to see in which direction it is now flowing. The Werse has its source near Beckum and runs via Ahlen and Drensteinfurt to Münster. The Werse, which is 67 kilometers long, flows into the Ems behind Münster.

Highlight • Cycleway

The Werse is a 67 km long, southern and left tributary of the Ems in Münsterland.
I particularly enjoyed cycling along it 🚴‍♀️

My highlight on today's tour was the "Bäänd" On the edge of the Hohe Ward is the huge bear. The artist, Ben Uhlenbrock, made a beast of prey out of an old oak trunk, as it was last seen in 1446 in "Sundern von Dernebockholt".
