Very nice walk from Druten!
There over a nice dike and back through the floodplain of the De Waal.
Lots to see.
From monuments to wild horses and cows.
Due to the drought the area to walk was larger.
Definitely recommended!

The Afferdense and Deestse Waarden is a floodplain area along the Waal in the municipality of Druten.
The area has an area of approximately 250 hectares, of which approximately 2/3 lies behind a summer quay.
The area contains the longest co-flowing secondary channel in the Netherlands, with a length of 4.5 kilometers.
