This viewpoint at Hurtwood is adorned by Converse, an accessible artwork that's intended for groups to sit around and communicate or simply take in the views in golden silence. It's specially designed so that wheelchairs can comfortably fit into the gaps between the three benches, which are arranged in a circle. The views are excellent, with both the Weald and the South Downs on show.

View South to Ewhurst

Highlight • Viewpoint

This glorious view looks south to the delightful Surrey village of Ewhurst (2 km away) and on to the distant South Downs. The viewpoint occurs by a green curved memorial seat located just to the east of the footpath. This seat makes a great place to sit and to stop for a coffee whilst admiring the scene!

View from Pitch Hill

Highlight • Natural Monument

Pitch Hill is a dramatic summit atop a narrow sandstone spur that affords breathtaking views over the village of Ewhurst, as well as the Weald and the South Downs. The spot has extra significance for Beatles' fans as George Harrison's famous song 'Here Comes the Sun' was apparently inspired by the hilltop.
