Tschengla Stone Circles

Highlight • Historical Site

The Neolithic stone circles on the Tschengla plateau are considered part of a huge calendar complex dating from 5000 to 1900 BC. The orientation of the stone circles shows parallels to other prehistoric structures in Europe.

The largest sinkhole (Erdkrater) in Vorarlberg. about 300 diameter x 100m depth.

Schillerkopf summit

Highlight • Summit

The ascent to the Schillerkopf is worthwhile. The view is gigantic. Very steep descent, really kneels. Bring enough to drink.

Mondspitze Summit Cross

Highlight • Summit

In my opinion the most beautiful summit cross in Vorarlberg. Mega all-round view and a mountain tour that has its appeal at any time of the day

Furkla Alpe

Highlight • Mountain Hut

The Furkla Alpe is a bit remote and therefore not as crowded as some other alpine huts. You have a great view over Bludenz and can really relax with a few small things.

Ronaalpe

Highlight • Mountain Hut

The Ronaalpe operates a show cheese tea. The products are among the best Alpine products in Vorarlberg. When hosted, only own products are sold. There is no coffee, beer or ice cream there

From there it went over the Kamperasättile with a short detour at the Kamperaschrofa to the Furklaalpe 🏠 for a drink 🍻. Past the natural pub, it went back to …

Nice tour with a great panorama!
The path from the Mondspitze to the Schillerkopf is marked in blue and white, but I don't find it very difficult or very dangerous. Partly a little exposed, but the positions are insured. The way back down from the Schillerkopf on the other side is steep and bumpy - risk of slipping! Sticks are …
