Second and unfortunately also the last day of our short holiday in Xanten: bike tour along the Rhine to the pretty little town of Kalkar and back via the dead-straight avenue bike path. Finally, we were also able to visit the interior of the cathedral, which was not possible yesterday [komoot.de/tour/803385089] because of the choir concert.

A lovely little ride. Unfortunately, parts of the dike have since been closed to hikers and cyclists, so we couldn't complete our entire route.

There was a "Siegfried Spectacle" in Xanten, so the town was very crowded and the bike paths were impassable.

A very special place is the Lucas Glass Studio. A must-stop 😄👍
