One option, the Schneebergpass for driving around, is offered by Schönlind. The natural road is hard and has only a little split, no coarse gravel - up to the upper lane absolutely roadworthy! The upper lane then has a bit coarser gravel, but I like to put up with that to see something different. Alternative: Maybe a floor below the Stellweg to cross the road, as the surface looked a bit better.
As always applies ürs road bike: Rauf better than down, then better off on the road.
