A so-called War Memorial in Volgfelde, erected in 1922 for the fallen of the First World War and later also for those who died in the Second World War. A truly remarkable memorial, featuring a life-size sculpture of a soldier holding his removed helmet. Above it is an Iron Cross with an inscription. The stone bearing the names of the men from Volgfelde who fell in the Second World War was added in 1993 during the memorial's renovation.
