Gedaryggen is a popular hiking trail located on the dramatic Nävlinge Ridge (Nävlingeåsen). The trail takes its name from a narrow, sharp pebble glacial ridge (an esker) that is so steep and pointed it resembles a goat’s back, gedarygg being the local Scanian dialect word for "goat's back" (getrygg in standard Swedish).
