Hiking
The Lac de Mondély is a picturesque reservoir in the French department of Ariège, about 10 km from Mas-d'Azil. With its emerald green color and wooded shores, it is a popular destination for walks, picnics, and nature observation. An approximately 8 km circular path leads around the lake and is well-suited for a leisurely hike.
Fishing is permitted (with a valid fishing license). However, swimming has been prohibited since 2023. There are parking spaces on site, as well as a snack bar during the season.
