The Baronial Palace De Gualtieriis, in Castrignano de' Greci, known locally as "Il Castello" (The Castle), is the symbol of the history of this small community and stands on the remains of an ancient medieval castle, once defended by a moat. Over the centuries it has undergone numerous alterations that have enriched it with decorative elements, as in the portal, internally embellished with angels, mascarons, and floral motifs, and is today municipal property, home to exhibitions and cultural events.
