Oldenzijl (Gronings: Oldenziel) is a small village in the municipality of Het Hogeland in the Dutch province of Groningen with 50 inhabitants (2010). Formerly it belonged to the Oosterambt of Hunsingo, from 1811 to 1979 to the municipality Uithuizermeeden and then to Hefshuizen, which is called Eemsmond since 1992. In 2019, this community merged with the Het Hogeland community. The eastern hamlet Paapstil is located within the nameplates of the village, but is actually separated from it.
