The Småland forest around Borgen is a mushroom paradise. Those who walk slowly enough will find a surprising variety along the roadside. Especially after rainy days, mushrooms of all shapes and sizes sprout from moss and deadwood. Keep your eyes open while hiking. The route partly leads through untouched forest sections that are rarely visited off the MTB trails.
