From this small door, you go to a stone building, the Rocca Aldobrandesca in the medieval village of Suvereto, in the province of Livorno.
The defensive structure has origins before 973 and was enlarged in 1308 to house a Pisan garrison.
Today it has been restored by the Municipality and can be visited as a museum.
