This splendid mule track, a wide and well-defined path historically used to bring livestock to the alpine pastures, initially cuts across the steep wooded slopes with a long traverse. Entering the Fer valley, the route crosses the Bonze stream and overcomes steep gullies before climbing the last steep section towards the refuge.
