Road cycling
Egnshuset Ranestedet in Varpelev opposite the Church, is a smaller local house built in 1778 of limestone from Stevns Klint. The history of the place, however, can be traced back to the 13th century, when the knight Jon Jonsen Rani of Gjorslev castle had the manor Varpelevgård built on the plot.
