The summit of Lyracappul is the highest point in the Galtee Mountains at 793 m (2,602 ft), rewarding hikers with sweeping views across Tipperary, Limerick and Cork. The final climb follows rugged mountain terrain before opening onto a broad summit ridge with dramatic panoramas over the surrounding valleys and neighbouring peaks.
