Tullagh Bay is best enjoyed on a calm, sunny day when the water is glassy and the horseshoe-shaped beach really opens up.
Go at low tide if you want the widest stretch of sand and the best views of the surrounding dunes and hills. It’s very quiet and undeveloped, so bring everything you need as there are no real facilities on site.
