The Aachtopf, also known as Aachquelle, near Aach in Baden-Württemberg, is the most water-rich karst spring in Germany. The Radolfzeller Aach (also known as Hegauer Aach) originates from the spring and flows into Lake Constance after 32 km near Radolfzell. The water emerging from the spring mainly comes from the Danube sink. The spring pool is about 80 meters long and up to 30 meters wide.
It is pleasant to have a picnic around the Aachtopf; there is also a small restaurant, although it is not always open.
