The building was erected between 1904 and 1906 for the owner of Słomów, Jan Turno. It is modeled after the Petit Trianon in Versailles (architect: Ange-Jacques Gabriel) and is a classicist brick building with a regular layout, two floors, a basement, and a hip roof. The building is crowned by an attic with a balustrade. The square layout features a shallow extension on the north side, an open veranda at the front, and a portico on the garden side, surrounded by a stone balustrade with four Corinthian columns and accessible via a staircase between the second and third columns.

Only about 30 km north of the state capital Poznań stands the enchanting Turn family palace - a manor house by architect Stanisław Borecki, built in the years 1904-1906 and a beautiful example of late historicism. The model for it was the small castle „Petit Trianon“ in the park of Versailles, which was built on the orders of Louis XV for the royal mistress Madame de Pompadour and later served as the residence of Queen Marie Antoinette.
