Hiking

If you choose the more difficult route from Königskrug to Achtermannshöhe, which to the right. Leaving the forest path and covered with granite scree, you reach an imposing, massive granite bastion before the summit called the Achtermann gate. Shortly before, for the first time also a very nice view of the Wurmberg, the highest mountain in Lower Saxony.
