The millstone is a reminder of the former location of the mill. To commemorate the Billmuthausen mill, the memorial site's support association had a three-ton millstone erected in September 2005. In addition, the memorial site has been expanded with three new information boards. Only this former millstone remains as a reminder of the former mill of Billmuthausen. Billmuthausen was once a village right on the border and was razed. Billmuthausen is a deserted village in the Bad Colberg district of the town of Heldburg in the Hildburghausen district of Thuringia.
