Hiking
Today, the old Zelzate railway line is a peaceful and green route that recalls the region's railway history. Freight trains once ran along it to Ghent and Terneuzen, but now it's a popular route for hikers and cyclists.
Along the path, you'll find traces of the past, such as old bridgeheads and railway tracks, while enjoying the open landscape and the nearby Ghent–Terneuzen Canal. A piece of industrial heritage that blends perfectly with nature and tranquility.
