"For over 100 years, the joyful voices of children resounded in this house. At a tragic moment in history, between 1944 and 1945, the infamous fascist Black Brigades of the Republic of Salò had their headquarters here.
Do not forget this bloody presence. Pause so that violence and hatred can never again gain a foothold in a free democracy.
Justice, equality, and peace shall be our path.
