Crisp climb on the Austrian side. The tunnel at the pass is cycleable, a bit scary and very interesting. Special: The AT/SLO border is marked in the middle of the tunnel.
If there's a lot of traffic, it can be stressful: you're riding on the roadway and there isn't a separate bike lane, but there is an emergency lane where you can stop if necessary. Cars have a speed limit of 50km/h.

Professionally equipped alpine tunnel with lighting, ventilation, escape routes, etc. I found it easy to ride on a racing bike (with lights).
