The "Mikołaj" oak is considered the most impressive tree in both Sulejów Landscape Park and the entire Aleksandrów Commune. Tradition has it that it was planted in 1528, during the foundation of the late Gothic wooden Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Skotniki. However, analyses indicate its actual age is approximately 350–400 years.
