The refuge is located in a very scenic spot, offering excellent platters of cured meats, focaccia, and cheeses. Parking is available, along with large lawns offering shade for lunches and barbecue facilities.

Road cycling
A managed refuge where you can rest and eat. From here, several trails lead to the summit of Mount Amandola, Castel Manardo, Balzo Rosso, or the Ambro Sanctuary. In front of the refuge, there is a barbecue area and a playground on a large lawn.
