Location and Statistics:
Eslohe Station is located at kilometer 22.18 on the former single-track branch line Finnentrop – Wennemen (line no. 2861). It opened on January 16, 1911. After through freight traffic was discontinued on May 30, 1965, Eslohe was only served from Wennemen.
Passenger service ended on the entire line on May 22, 1966. The line from Eslohe to Serkenrode was officially closed on July 1, 1972. With a special permit, a special train from Finnentrop reached the station once again on November 18, 1972. Starting in the winter of 1974/1975, the line toward Serkenrode was dismantled.
