The oldest depot still in operation was built in December 1898 outside the boundaries of what was then Szczecin. It was the first base of the electric era and replaced the horse depot at Dębogórska Street, located slightly to the south. The rapidly growing number of wagons forced the expansion of the depot, which was carried out in 1907. At that time, halls were added, in which there were two parking tracks (no. 8 and 12), three inspection channels (9-11) and sanitary and workshop rooms at platform 12. The depot was modernized again in 1926.
